Woman found with multiple gunshot wounds/Loveland Police

On February 1, 2015 at approximately 11:00 am the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a call requesting a welfare check at a home in the 3600 block of Butternut Drive. When Loveland police officers arrived, they found a deceased person in the home. Loveland police detectives are looking in to the circumstances surrounding the death. This case is still under investigation. More information will be released when it becomes available and is appropriate for public dissemination. February 2, 2015 Update: When the responding officers arrived for the welfare check, they found a woman who was later identified as Angela Howard, a thirty-six year-old Loveland woman, who had suffered multiple apparent gunshot wounds. FCPD investigates stabbing in Old Town area park

  Fort Collins police are investigating after a 36-year-old man reported being stabbed while sleeping at an Old Town-area park. A resident in the 100 block of Buckingham Street called police about 7 p.m. Friday to report that a man came to the home and reported being stabbed, said Cory Christensen, deputy chief with Fort Collins police. The man reported being stabbed while sleeping at nearby Lee Martinez Park. Poudre Valley Hospital EMS treated and transported the man to MCR with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Detectives continued to comb the area around the home and nearby parks late into the evening searching for clues. A detailed suspect description was not immediately available. Stabbing at Ft Collins Hilton Hotel

A 25-year-old Fort Collins man was hospitalized early Wednesday after he was stabbed in the back at the Hilton hotel in Fort Collins. Fort Collins police were called at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday to the Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road. Nicholas Fisher, 25, was the victim of a non-life-threatening knife stab wound stemming from an altercation on the fifth floor, authorities said. Mary Pope, 19, and Brian Williams, 31, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury. Officer Shot! Loveland Police Loveland Police Officer Shot! On March 2nd, 2014 at approximately 7:48 p.m., a Loveland Police officer made a traffic stop at the intersection of 17th Street and North Wilson Avenue. Shortly thereafter, the officer called over his radio that shots had been fired. Officers who responded to assist found that the officer had been shot during the traffic stop. The officer was taken to an area hospital. The officer is currently in ICU. Loveland officers with the aid of several neighboring jurisdictions searched the area for the vehicle and suspect(s). December 14, 2012, Larimer County deputies stopped a speeding vehicle with its flashers on at approximately 3:25 this morning and discovered a 20-year-old Fort Collins man with two stab wounds. The stop occurred near the intersection of North Taft Hill Road and West Vine Drive. The wounded man was a passenger in the 1999 silver Honda driven by another 20-year-old Fort Collins man who also had a minor injury. Both men were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was treated and released. The stabbing victim is currently listed in fair condition. Fort Collins police are investigating the report of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the early hours Monday morning, January 16. The incident involved two Fort Collins women, 22 and 35 years of age, at the Fort Collins Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road. The women reported attending a concert at the Phaze bar in Loveland, 5400 N. Garfield Avenue, and were later seen at the Hilton with three unknown males at approximately 1:30 a.m. The women contacted police around 9:15 a.m. on Monday to report that had been sexually assaulted. Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a sexual assault last night by a suspect described as a police impersonator.  At approximately 10:00 p.m. last night (1/5/12), a woman in her 20’s reported she had been stopped by a man in a dark sedan with a red light in the area of West 32nd Street and Glade Road in Loveland, Colorado who represented himself to be a police officer.  Subsequently, the police impersonator is alleged to have sexually assaulted the woman.  No weapons were involved and the woman was not physically injured.
