On September 25, 2018, at approximately 7:01 p.m., the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Clayton Place in Berthoud / unincorporated Larimer County. Deputies learned that a 44-year-old Johnstown man was inside a building when a bullet entered the building and struck the man, grazing him in the upper torso causing minor injuries. The man refused medical treatment. As a precautionary measure additional Deputies from LCSO, as well as Loveland Police responded. The Loveland Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver involved in an act of road rage from On June 10, 2018. The incident originated in Fort Collins, and concluded at the Walmart parking lot, 250 W. 65th Street, in Loveland, around 2325 hours. At approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday, 08/27/16, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the area of 400 South Overland Trail on report of a shooting. Two brothers had gotten into an argument, and one had shot the other and then left the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital, and deputies are actively searching for the suspect in the area bordered by Overland Trail, Taft Hill Road, Mulberry Street, and Laporte Avenue. FCPS Seeks Information about Stabbing Suspect Fort Collins Police are seeking information about a man accused of stabbing his former girlfriend. On January 18, 2016 at approximately 8:23 a.m., a local hospital contacted police regarding a 43-year-old stabbing victim. The victim said she had been in her home when her former boyfriend, Charles Pierce (DOB 05/22/1973), stabbed her in the abdomen, causing serious injury. The victim, currently in recovery, is expected to survive. Pierce fled the scene of the incident and is currently at large. Police in Loveland have released footage of an attack in July and are asking the public to help identify the man in the video, according to a news release Tuesday. With consent of the victim, Loveland Police investigators released the video with the hope of someone recognizing the man, who allegedly sexually assaulted one woman and may have been following another, through his mannerisms, shirt or any other information in the footage. From Friday, January 29, 2016 through Friday, February 12, 2016, Fort Collins Police Services will have information posted on their website regarding the release of two Sexually Violent Predators (SVP) into the community. The information is being posted pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 16-13-901 through 16-13-905 to specifically provide notification of the offender and to generally enhance public safety and protection. The information is being posted in lieu of a community meeting. The individuals involved in this notification recently moved to the Fort Collins jurisdiction after being released from the Department of Corrections. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office received two reports of shots fired from a vehicle at nearly the same time on Saturday night. Two separate callers reported shots fired from a vehicle, one on southbound Interstate 25 and one on westbound Colorado Highway 402, at about 5 p.m., according to the sheriff's office. Neither a vehicle or a suspect or any damage was located. The investigation remains ongoing.
The Estes Park Police Department is seeking information related to an attempted assault at the Lake Estes Trail the evening of September 15. At approximately 7:51 p.m., a female victim reported a male suspect accosted her, possibly in an attempt to commit theft, while she walked along the western side of the Lake Estes Trail. The suspect reportedly fled the scene running eastbound on the trail. Police Investigating Assaults Fort Collins Police Services is currently investigating two physical assaults that occurred on July 26th and July 27th. The assaults were perpetrated against female victims by an unknown male assailant(s). These cases share similarities in that both women were returning home late at night, were in the apartment complexes where they lived, and were assaulted from behind by an unknown assailant(s). In both cases, the victims of the assaults were able to evade the assailant and police were called. The victims in these cases suffered physical injuries during the assaults. Fort Collins Police are investigating after a man was stabbed Sunday, May 31, 2015, in Fort Collins near the downtown library. The incident was reported at 7:35 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Oak Street. A yet-unidentified 38-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen near Library Park and taken to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Fort Collins Police Services Deputy Chief Cory Christensen didn't yet have information about the man's condition, as of about 9 p.m. Sunday. The possible suspect is described as a white man, aged 35 to 40, between 6-foot to 6-foot-2, and wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. He might look like he's been beaten up, Christensen said.
