Theft from Vehicles-LPD

The Loveland Police Department is asking for assistance regarding several thefts from vehicles which have occurred in the last two months. The vehicles have been parked in parking lots of businesses for short periods of time. When owners return to their vehicles, they are missing personal items and items of value that were sitting on the seat. Locked and unlocked vehicles have been entered by the suspect(s). This investigation is continuing. Suspicious Fire & Burglary / FCPD

Police Investigate Suspicious Fire Fort Collins police and Poudre Fire Authority were called to the business Signs Now at 1438 Riverside Ave. in Fort Collins at approximately 4:44 a.m. on the report of a structure fire. Police and fire personnel arriving on scene found a door on the business that appeared to be broken open. Detectives are working with Poudre Fire Authority investigators to determine the origin and cause of the fire as well as to determine if illegal entry was made to the building. While the fire was being extinguished, a burglary was reported to police at Painter’s Supply located at 1626 Riverside Avenue. Robbery in Wellington/ LCSD

December 5, 2013 The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred Wednesday, December 4th at approximately 8:40 p.m. at Schrader’s Country Store located at 3700 Cleveland Avenue in Wellington, Colorado. Two suspects were involved. Both suspects were described as Hispanic males, one was about 5’8” tall while the other was about 6’ tall. Additional descriptors are not being released at this point of the investigation. The suspects entered the store and one pointed a handgun at the clerk while the other gave the clerk instructions.
