Bike Thief-Lee’s Cycle | FCPD

On December 7, 2016 at about 3:20 PM an employee of Lee’s Cyclery at 202 W. Laurel reported that a male suspect had stolen a bicycle from the store. The male suspect was described as a white male, approximately 35-40 years old wearing a black jacket, brown hat and black backpack. The male suspect was looking at a bicycle and when the employee was not looking, he left the store with a red and white colored Specialized brand 29 inch mountain bike valued at $2500. The serial number on the bicycle ends with the numbers 8601. Video images of the suspect were obtained. Big City Burrito Theft | Loveland Police

 On 11/18/15 at around 9:26 pm a theft was reported at Big City Burrito located at 1441 N. Denver Avenue in Loveland. While the employee was distracted by two customers at the front of the store, the male entered the store through the back door. The male was able to access the safe and steal an undisclosed amount of cash. After taking the cash the male left the store through the back door.  The Loveland Police Department is looking for the public’s help with any information that might assist with this investigation. Mario Garcia-wanted | LCSD

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office on Friday asked for the public's help in finding a man they say tried to seize a homeowner's property so he could illegally start a marijuana grow operation. Mario Garcia, 35, is wanted on numerous felony warrants including burglary, money laundering, criminal extortion and marijuana cultivation. Bond has been set at $300,000, though Garcia's last known whereabouts were not immediately known, the sheriff's office announced Friday. He is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may have recently gone by numerous aliases including Nick Garcia or Ponce Garcia. Theft from Vehicles-LPD

The Loveland Police Department is asking for assistance regarding several thefts from vehicles which have occurred in the last two months. The vehicles have been parked in parking lots of businesses for short periods of time. When owners return to their vehicles, they are missing personal items and items of value that were sitting on the seat. Locked and unlocked vehicles have been entered by the suspect(s). This investigation is continuing. Police Investigate Vehicle Trespass and Theft On February 1 at approximately 12:20 p.m., Fort Collins police responded to a report of a theft at the Super Wal-Mart, 1250 E. Magnolia Street and a vehicle trespass by the same suspects in the parking lot. An unknown male and female entered the Super Wal-Mart and stole a vehicle battery valued at $118.00 from the store. Metal Thefts/Sheriff’s Office

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to see regular reports of metal theft.  In the last six weeks alone, there have been seven reports of metal theft.  In the last six months of 2011,  a total of 16 metal thefts were reported.  While all types of metals have been stolen, copper seems to be the primary target. Construction companies and construction sites have always been prime targets for metal thieves, but we are now seeing this expanded to include individual electricians, plumbers, farmers and other non-traditional victims. Residents are urged to keep metallic items out of sight, locked up and securely stored when not in use.  Appropriate fencing, locks, chains, alarm systems, etc. should be used when possible.  Report [...]
