Homicide Investigation| LCSD

On September 23, 2016, at approximately 5:30 pm, the Timnath Police Department received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a local farmer’s field. The field is located north of East Prospect Road and Larimer County Road 5. When the Timnath Police Department approached the vehicle they found a deceased body in the vehicle. Larimer County Sheriff’s Office immediately responded to assist Timnath with the scene. At this time the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office has taken the primary role in the investigation and Timnath Police Department will be assisting. The deceased body is being investigated as a homicide. At this time no further information will be released.

Death Investigation/Loveland Police

 On 10/04/15 at 7:47pm, Officers of the Loveland Police Department responded with Thompson Valley Ambulance and Loveland Fire Rescue Authority to 1 Aspen Dr. for a reported unresponsive party. Officers found an unconscious 19 year old female who was transported by ambulance to the Medical Center of the Rockies where she was later pronounced deceased. The Larimer County Coroner’s Office and the Loveland Police Criminal Investigations Unit were called to the scene and are investigating the circumstances, cause and method of her death. The area was taped off to restrict access overnight as the investigation continued. Loveland Police Homicide/may be related to other shootings/killings

Loveland Police Department Homicide Press Briefing June 4, 2015 At approximately 10:52 pm, last evening, Loveland police officers responded to the area of East First Street and St. Louis Avenue on the report of a bleeding man lying on the sidewalk. When officers arrived, they performed life-saving measures for the man but were unsuccessful. The Department was assisted on scene by the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and the Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Service. Those initial responding personnel determined the man had been shot. NEW INFORMATION EMERGES IN HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION  Windsor, CO – New information now reveals the fatal shooting of John Jacoby and Cori Romero are linked. John Jacoby was fatally shot on County Road 15 south of County Road 72 at approximately 10:00 am, May 18 where it appears he was traveling northbound on his bicycle. Cori Romero was shot while driving from East Harmony Road onto the on-ramp to southbound I-25 around 11:15 p.m. on April 22.
