Police Investigate Vandalism to New Home Construction Sites Fort Collins Police, in cooperation with Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Timnath Police and Loveland Police, are investigating numerous incidents of vandalism to new homes under construction within the area (see attached map). At least 18 homes have sustained significant damage, including broken windows; damaged or destroyed cabinets, countertops and appliances; and paint poured over floors, walls, and appliances. The amount of damage is believed to be over $160,000 with several estimates still outstanding. Police ask that citizens who live in or near areas with ongoing new construction immediately call 911 to report suspicious vehicles or persons, especially during nighttime hours. I-25 Shots fired from car | LCSD

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office received two reports of shots fired from a vehicle at nearly the same time on Saturday night. Two separate callers reported shots fired from a vehicle, one on southbound Interstate 25 and one on westbound Colorado Highway 402, at about 5 p.m., according to the sheriff's office. Neither a vehicle or a suspect or any damage was located. The investigation remains ongoing.

Subject: Robbery Date: 11/9/15 This morning at approximately 2:23 am, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 7-Eleven at 200 North Taft Hill Road to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The investigation revealed that one suspect held the clerk at gunpoint while two other armed suspects took money from the cash register and merchandise from the store. All three suspects fled southeast on foot following the robbery. The clerk was not harmed. Attempted assault/Estes Park Police

The Estes Park Police Department is seeking information related to an attempted assault at the Lake Estes Trail the evening of September 15. At approximately 7:51 p.m., a female victim reported a male suspect accosted her, possibly in an attempt to commit theft, while she walked along the western side of the Lake Estes Trail. The suspect reportedly fled the scene running eastbound on the trail. Police are searching for the suspect, who is described as a male with a tanned or dark complexion, approximately 15 to 19 years of age, between 5’9” and 6’ tall, 140 to 150 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, long black athletic shorts and gym shoes. UPDATE:  Case solved through Crime Stopper Tip!  Man arrested after a witness saw him in a motel and recognized the photo from the Bank surveillance camera. UPDATE: KEY BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT PHOTO The attached photo was taken of the suspect during the robbery occurring at Key Bank at 300 W. Oak in Fort Collins on Friday August 14th. The suspect(s) making these calls uses the actual name of a high ranking member of the Sheriff’s Office and demands money to avoid arrest. The suspect(s) may say you have an outstanding arrest warrant or you missed jury duty and a warrant will be issued.
