Loveland Armed Robbery–Veterans Club

On January 21, 2015 at approximately 9:34 pm, the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a call stating that there had been an armed robbery at the Loveland Associated Veteran’s Club. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects. The victim told the officers that she had been closing the club when two men walked in and demanded money. One suspect made physical motions which led the victim to believe that he was armed, but he never displayed a weapon. She gave them the money. FCPD investigates stabbing in Old Town area park

  Fort Collins police are investigating after a 36-year-old man reported being stabbed while sleeping at an Old Town-area park. A resident in the 100 block of Buckingham Street called police about 7 p.m. Friday to report that a man came to the home and reported being stabbed, said Cory Christensen, deputy chief with Fort Collins police. The man reported being stabbed while sleeping at nearby Lee Martinez Park. Poudre Valley Hospital EMS treated and transported the man to MCR with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Detectives continued to comb the area around the home and nearby parks late into the evening searching for clues. A detailed suspect description was not immediately available. Sheriff’s Office Fraud Alert

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office has seen an increase in reports of citizens receiving telephone calls from someone claiming to be a law enforcement official and demanding money. Citizens are told they have outstanding arrest warrants with specified bond amounts and must send all or part of the money to various websites to avoid immediate arrest. The individual(s) making these unsolicited telephone calls are providing legitimate names and information of law enforcement employees making them seem credible. No law enforcement agency will contact a citizen via telephone and demand immediate payment to avoid arrest. Stabbing at Ft Collins Hilton Hotel

A 25-year-old Fort Collins man was hospitalized early Wednesday after he was stabbed in the back at the Hilton hotel in Fort Collins. Fort Collins police were called at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday to the Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road. Nicholas Fisher, 25, was the victim of a non-life-threatening knife stab wound stemming from an altercation on the fifth floor, authorities said. Mary Pope, 19, and Brian Williams, 31, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury. Their hometowns were not immediately known, though jail records indicate they are both from Colorado Springs.
