Armed Robbery / Loveland Police On March 27 , 2014 at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting a robbery at the Casual Male Big and Tall store at 5732 McWhinney Boulevard. When officers arrived, the victim told them that two men had been in the store shopping along with other shoppers. After the other shoppers left, one of the men showed a firearm before leaving the store with a large amount of merchandise. The men left on foot westbound through the parking lot. Burglary / FCPD Police Request Assistance with Burglary Investigation Fort Collins police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred on January 19 to Beaver’s Market, 1100 W. Mountain Ave.  The burglary was captured on store’s security camera and showed the suspect entered the business at approximately 5:38 a.m. A store employee discovered the burglary at approximately 8:00 a.m. when arriving to open the store for the day. Officers responded and found evidence of forced entry to the store and discovered a safe was missing which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. Armed Robbery /Loveland Police On March 20, 2014 at approximately 10:19 hours, the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call regarding a robbery that occurred at The Tanning Salon, 2232 W 1st St. When officers arrived, they learned from the employees of The Tanning Salon that two subjects walked into the store and they were armed with a weapon.  The subjects took an undisclosed amount of cash and left in a vehicle.  We are not releasing any information on the vehicle at this time. The schools in the area were notified about the robbery.  The schools took appropriate safety measures. Burglary Premier Gym

Burglary Premier Gym / Loveland Police On 03/01/14 between midnight and 7:00am, Loveland’s Premier Gymnastics was burglarized. Several items, including an iPad, were taken from the business. On Mar 8th, 2014 an apparent selfie (see attached image) appeared in Premier’s business iCloud account from that iPad. The investigating officer would like to talk to talk to this man to find out what he knows about the burglary and the stolen items. We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him. Officer Shot! Loveland Police Loveland Police Officer Shot! On March 2nd, 2014 at approximately 7:48 p.m., a Loveland Police officer made a traffic stop at the intersection of 17th Street and North Wilson Avenue. Shortly thereafter, the officer called over his radio that shots had been fired. Officers who responded to assist found that the officer had been shot during the traffic stop. The officer was taken to an area hospital. The officer is currently in ICU. Loveland officers with the aid of several neighboring jurisdictions searched the area for the vehicle and suspect(s).
