Two masked men in hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing robbed a Diamond Shamrock gas station about 9:50 p.m. Friday at College Avenue and Swallow Road, Fort Collins, police said. No weapon was displayed, and the two left the store on foot eastbound with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Fort Collins Police Services. A Coloradoan reader reported seeing numerous police in the area with yellow tape surrounding the gas station Friday night. By Saturday morning, the scene was back to normal and a clerk said she hadn’t heard about the robbery. Sexual Assault at knife point

A female CSU student says she was pulled from her car near campus and sexually assaulted early Saturday by a man armed with a knife. (Coloradoan Story) Fort Collins police said the woman, 22, wasn’t hurt in the incident, which occurred just after midnight near 100 Lake St., near the railroad tracks. This is the second reported sex assault in the area by a man wielding a knife in less than a month.
